From The Tee – 09/12/2017

Beautiful weather ensured it was a great social day at the annual Crow Horwarth 3 person Ambrose (guest day) event last Saturday at the Camperdown Golf Club. 16 teams competed on the day including 18 guests ranging from beginners to established golfers.

Winners on the day were Darren Cheeseman, Stephen Clissold and Neville Wilson with a nett score of 57 5/6. Runners up were Jack Kerr, Ash Sinnott and Andrew Coles with nett 58 2/3.

Nearest to Pins: 2nd Brian Fitzgerald, second shot to the 7th Neville Swayne, 9th Liam Lafferty, 15th Stephen Clissold, 17th D Hickey. Tom Moran scored an eagle on the 11th hole.

Last Thursday’s nine hole Stroke event was won by David Absolom with nett 33 ½ by countback from Col Keane also on 33 ½.

Nearest to Pins: 15th Bernie Sinnott, 17th Simon Baker. Balls down the line to Nick Lillie, Sam Walsh, Brian Fitzgerald, Keith Stephens, Rick Bailey.

This Saturday is a Stableford event including the annual Left handers v Right handers competition and Christmas hams.
