Players enjoyed fine weather and excellent course conditions at last Saturday’s 3 person Ambrose event. Winners of the Men’s event with a nett score of 54 2/3 were Tom Clissold, Jack Davis and Dale Evans.
Runners up were Gary Lafferty, Greg McKenzie and Liam Lafferty with 55 7/8.

Winners of the Mixed event were Rick Carr, Brian McGarvie and L. Moane on a nett score of 62 ½

At Thursday’s nine Stableford event, Mark Clissold won with 24 points by count back from Simon Gill also on 24.

Peter Hughes returned a fantastic score of 79-13-66 to take the Monthly Medal and privilege pot at last Saturday’s 18 hole Stroke event. Peter won on count back from Aaron Sinnott on 86-20-66.

Birdie hole was the 11th where Aaron Sinnott and Keith Baker managed a Birdie.

The day also included a putting competition won by John Whitewood with 25 putts. John also won the longest putt on the 18th.

Balls down the line required a net score of 68 or better, Peter Hughes, Aaron Sinnott 66, Jack Davis 67, Peter Skene, Ian Henderson, Nick Lillie, Keith Stephens, Matt Sinnott, Shaun McKenzie, Norm Tonks 68.

At Thursday’s nine Par event, Matt Sinnott continued his good form to win with +5 from Murray Lucas on +4.

Ray Jackson and Murray Lucas produce an excellent combined score of 50 points at last Saturday’s 4BBB event at the Camperdown Golf Club. The pair won ahead of Keith Baker and Andrew Benallack on 48 points.

To receive a ball down the line required 45 points or more, Ray Jackson/Murray Lucas 50, Keith Baker/Andrew Benallack 48, Tony Cronin/Stephen Clissold 46, Tom Clissold/Dale Evans 45, Matt Sinnott/Pat Sinnott 45.

The nine hole competition on Thursday’s continues to receive great numbers, with Rick Bailey winning the Stableford event on 23 points by count back, ahead of Richard Narik on 23.

Nearest to Pins: 2nd Leigh van den Berghe, second shot to 7th Troy Stephens, 9th Tom Moran, 15th Nick Lillie, 17th Jack Davis. Leigh van den Berghe managed a Birdie on this week’s birdie hole 2nd.
Balls down the line went to nett scores of 70 or less; Bernie Sinnott 66, Nick Lillie, Keith Baker, Leigh van den Berghe 68, Jack Davis 69, Peter Hughes, Gary Lafferty, Mark Kent 70.
The day also included the final round of the Wolbull round robin. Finishing with the best total score for the three rounds was Keith Baker ahead of Gary Lafferty.
At last Thursday’s nine hole competition Troy Stephens won with 20 Stableford points from Simon Baker on 19. Nearest to Pins: 15th Mark Kent, 17th Simon Baker.
